2 Ole Miss students found dead near packaged kratom. What is the drug?

Police search for answers after the separate deaths of two University of Mississippi students, with the drug kratom found at both scenes.

"We do not know if it's connected to either one of these deaths, but we want to warn the public that this could be a possibility in trying to get anyone else involved," Lafayette County Sheriff Joe East said.

A college newspaper named the deceased students as Aidan Hamilton and Robert Strang.
