Police officers accused of misusing Flock cameras

Concerns are growing over the potential misuse of automated license plate readers. Five police officers in Indianapolis are the latest to face criminal charges for allegedly using Flock cameras to track romantic partners and others.

Prosecutors allege that Schultz used the technology to stalk women, many of whom he had never met.

The arrests came while Senate hearings on the technology were underway in D.C.

After a group of hackers stole and leaked internal data from a Flock camera, a renowned security researcher found numerous vulnerabilities.
